These were created with inspiration from E.A Séguy's work. I took influence from the colorful and crowded aesthetic that Séguy developed in environmental Art Nouveau tradition. The assignment required us to create a calendar and I found inspiration from the native butterflies in the Midwest. Included below are illustrations of the Eastern Tiger Swallow Tail and the Monarch Butterfly.
